I haven't posted on here for a long time so I took some pictures of my bees. Here they are.

I haven't posted for a long time so I'm going to post a picture from awhile ago when we did corn. Here it is.

Bees on corn

When you read the title "Bees on corn" I don't mean a few bees. I mean hundreds and hundred of bees on the tassels of the corn, they're mainly on one row of the corn and hundreds of them! They have quite a bit of pollen on them. Every tassel has the average of two to three bees on it! I thought it was pretty neat but I didn't get any pictures.

Happy inspection

We inspected my bees today and I was really happy to see how well they were doing. The queen had a pretty good brood pattern and it looks like I'm going to be able to add honey supers to one hive.

We have had a lot of blue birds around and they're really tame so I took some pictures of them. We also have four kittens.

We inspected my bees awhile ago, we are quite sure the two hives have a queen, the third hive I had a little "Oops" on. When I put the swarm into their hive I only had five frames so I figured I would have the feeder on the far side of the hive with the frames around it, figuring that they'd draw it out near the feeder first, well it was quite the opposite...

As you can probably tell this is the "Oops." It is kind of neat looking at natural comb. We cut the large section out and put it in a frame.
